Does Detroit hate America?
March 20th, 2006Here’s an interesting article titled, “Does Detroit hate America?”
The article questions why American auto makers are consistantly rebadging european models and selling them as “American” cars. No wonder American auto makers are not doing well. They are selling cars that are tailored for Europeans, and not Americans.
I agree with the article. American cars have lost their distinctive style the past few decades. And it’s funny that the only company that is still making American flavored cars is Daimler Chrysler, a company that is half German.
BRING BACK THE AMERICAN MUSCLE CARS!

Apartment for car guys…

AutoBlog.com reported a new type of apartments (too bad it is not available here in the US): car loft. Basically, instead of having an elevator to take you to your floor, there’s an elevator to take you AND YOUR CAR to your floor. Then you just park on your balcony and walk into your apartment. Not only is it easy to bring things back and forth from the car, you get to stare at your car all day long…
And the F1 season starts again this weekend…WOOOO!!!! (Check out the new Red Bull cars! They look awsome)

February 28th, 2006I just got done watching the Fifth Gear episode where they got to race a new M5 against a Formula 1 car. I think I almost cried when I was watching it. They just seemed like they were having SOOOOO much fun! The sound of a F1 car is just SO INTOXICATING! Check it out for yourself…
